This image won 3rd place for Photojournalism in Santa Clarita Valley Photographers Associations Spring 2008 print competition.
The image was captured from my backyard while living in Santa Clarita, California! A telephoto lens was used, but the fire was far to close for my comfort level. Fortunately the fireman quickly put out the file using both ground and air support.
